Commutastic app for iPhone and iPad

Commutastic is an app that gives users the opportunity to get rewarded for avoiding traffic. This game-like application is part of the I-GEAR project, which explores ways to use gamification to reduce traffic congestion in Luxembourg.
The app is designed to offer traffic participants in Luxembourg alternative after-work activities in the Kirchberg area in Luxembourg city. The app supports a study about traffic behaviour and gamification. Users are supposed to choose one of four activities when they leave work instead of going home during the peak time and contributing to more traffic. The activities are free of charge for the duration of the study that takes place in June 2015.
Doing alternative activities and not being stuck in traffic jams, users will also reduce their own CO2 footprint.
